These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Carli mobile application ("the app", "we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Carli is — and what it is not

Carli is a personal care companion: it helps you organize your health information, keep track of medications and appointments, practice self-care, and talk with an AI assistant.

Carli is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care. The AI assistant never diagnoses, never recommends doses, and never gives medical verdicts. Always consult your care team about medical decisions, and never delay seeking medical help because of something you read in the app. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use Carli. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You may delete your account at any time in the app from Settings → Delete account (see the Privacy Policy for details).

3. Subscription and billing

Carli offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks the full experience, including the AI companion.
Your first month is free. You will not be charged during the introductory period.
After the free period, the subscription renews automatically each month at the price shown in the app until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
Your subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the app for anyone else's medical care without their consent; attempt to extract, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or its AI; upload content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights; or use the AI assistant to attempt to obtain medical advice it is designed not to give.

5. Your content

Health information, documents, journal entries and messages you add remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and process them in order to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

6. AI-generated content

The AI assistant's replies are generated automatically. They may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Medical information surfaced by Carli comes from cited public sources (such as the FDA drug label); it is provided for general information only and can never account for your complete medical situation.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, be added or be removed. We may update these Terms; material changes will be noted in the app, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
